In the off position, this switch serves two purposes:

• Disables the Electric starter: It disconnects the starter circuit, so the engine cannot be turned with the electric starter.
• Acts as a Kill Switch: Prevents the bike from getting a spark.

This combined function both prevents accidental starts and provides an effective way to shut off the engine.
